Jan Jack

Jan Jack has been a poet for many years; many of those years being spent as a secretary.

In 2006 she started performing stand up comedy. In 2007 she founded Basingstoke’s Comedy Club  Laughter-House, which plays host to comedians such as Milton Jones, Simon Evans and Adam Bloom.

In 2008 Jan published a book of naughty verse, Muffs Chuffs & Nonsense which attracted very positive reviews on Amazon and later the same year left her office job to set up Jan Jack’s Perfect Verse.

She is now a full time bespoke poet, inspirational speaker and comedy promoter and also runs Comedy writing workshops.

In January 2012 Jan was featured on the Fabulous at Fifty website, which celebrates ladies who’ve changed direction after the age of 50.
