Jan Jack

Jan Jack is a bespoke poet with many years experience.  In 2006 she started performing her humorous verse , and then began to write stand up comedy.  In 2007 she founded Basingstoke’s Comedy Club Laughter-House.

Her first book, ‘Muffs Chuffs & Nonsense’ (Poems for Grown Ups) was published in 2008 an is now available in both paperback and Kindle format.

Jan specialises in bespoke verse for occasions; birthdays, anniversaries and, primarily, wedding speeches.  She also writes radio advertisements and promotional verse for businesses.

She is also available for entertaining at after dinner speaking events, with a mix of story telling and poetry, and has recently become a qualified celebrant.

Jan also runs workshops on how to add appropriate humour to presentations

Most of Jan’s work comes via recommendation.

What’s Next?

Jan will be appearing at Laughter-House Comedy Club Basingstoke on  Thursday 1 November 2012.

A further book of amusing verse for all age ranges is planned for 2012.  Look out for Animal Angst!
